Congratulations to Mrs. Cheryl Starwalt for winning the Papa John’s Teacher Appreciation Award. Brody Norton, Mrs. Starwalt’s student, wrote an excellent and heartwarming essay explaining why Mrs. Starwalt is his favorite teacher. Both teacher and student won free pizzas for a year, and Mrs. Starwalt was presented with a beautiful trophy.
We are proud of Brody and Mrs. Starwalt!
Seventh graders presented a living Wax Museum showcasing their research of a character from history. They spent time creating posters and glogs about their character and then dressed up like that person.

Mr. Starwalt, a MRI service engineer for Philips Medical Systems, brought his quadcopter by to show Mrs. Starwalt's first block class. The quadcopter is a radio controlled helicopter with four blades that Mr. Starwalt built. The students were able to hold the quadcopter and ask questions.
