South Carolina Arts Commission Funds allow Arts Extras!

Recipients of South Carolina Arts Commission awards this year included Westside High School's Candy Cannon and Seth Scheving whose photography classes took some amazing photos, New Prospect's Dottie Martin whose students clearly loved creating masterpieces in fired clay, and Robert Anderson Middle School's Elizabeth Barker who also upgraded the clay class materials with SCAC funds.

Congratulations to these teachers on their awards and the great teaching moments they funded!

South Carolina Arts Commission Grants funded so many creative and dynamic projects this year in our Music and Visual Arts classes - Anderson Five is very grateful these funds are available to ALL of our schools. Congratulations to Marianne Norris, Lindsay Morgan, Robert Cason, and Rachel Lawrence for successfully writing winning proposals and implementing new ideas in their classrooms this year. We know their students were excited to receive the new instruments and activities purchased with these SCAC funds.
