2024-2025 School Bus Ridership Intent Form

Anderson School District Five Transportation Services now requires that ALL bus riders complete a School Bus Registration Request to ensure that your child is routed and assigned to the closest bus stop available. This form is only for students who are riding the bus from home to school and/or school to home. Failure to complete this form for any student may result in delayed transportation eligibility and ridership. Each student must have their own separate form on file within Transportation Services.

For the start of the 2024-2025 school year
School Bus Registration requests will be processed in the order in which they are received by Transportation Services. Please DO NOT fill out multiple requests unless the information or address has changed on the previous request. Bus Assignments will be visible via the Ride 360 app once assigned.

After the start of the 2024-2025 school year
School Bus Registration requests will be processed in the order in which they are received by Transportation Services. Transportation requests may take up to 5-7 business days to be processed.

Important Information
Please provide accurate information when completing this form. Failure to do so will delay your school bus registration request. If you have moved, please make sure that your address is updated at the school level so that your request will not be delayed. It may take up to 2-3 days to be verified from the school level to Transportation Services.

Special Education Transportation Services will be coordinated through Special Education and/or the school in which your child is assigned to attend by Special Education only. All Special Education Students are required to have a Special Needs Transportation (SNT) Request. Filling out this form does not register your child for Special Needs Transportation.

West Market Students (3K & 4K-Special Needs students) will be coordinated through the school. Filling out this form does not register your child for Preschool Transportation.

Zone Exemption students who reside out-of-school zone, do not qualify for bus transportation and will not need to fill out this form. All Zone Exemption Forms will be denied.

Students who only need transportation to and/from Anderson Institute of Technology (AIT) and/or Southwood Shuttle Buses back to their zoned school do not need to fill out this form. This will be coordinated through the school.

Please do not fill out this form if your student will not ride the school bus on a consistent basis. Once bus routes have been stabilized, the practice is to remove students from the bus roster if they do not ride the bus for 5 consecutive days without notification to Transportation Services. Bus stops may also be dropped if there aren’t any riders at the stop. Any changes to a student's bus stop location and times can be viewed via the My Ride K-12 App.

If you move or need to change pick up and/or drop off address after completing this request, please visit the Transportation website to fill out another school bus registration request with the changed information.
