Title IV
Title IV - Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE)
Title IV - Student Support and Academic Enrichment is part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (reauthorized as Every Student Succeeds Act). The purpose of ESEA Title IV is to help ensure every child is prepared to graduate ready to thrive in college and careers by ensuring students receive appropriate educational experiences. There are three emphasis areas within Title IV:
- Provide all students with access to a well-rounded education
- Improve school conditions for student learning
- Improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students
This program encourages coordination and integration of activities with other sections of ESSA.
