Medications at School
Medication Procedures
- All medication must be delivered to the School Nurse or other designated staff by the student's parent or legal guardian.
- All prescription medication must be in the original container and have the pharmacy label attached
- All prescription medication must have written physician and parental authorization before medication can be administered at school.
Over -the -Counter Medication
- All Over-the-Counter (OTC) medication must have written parental authorization before medication can be administered at school All OTC medication may be provided by the parent/legal guardian and delivered to the School Nurse
- All OTC medication must be in a new unopened container and clearly labeled with the student's name
