Recipients of South Carolina Arts Commission awards this year included Matthew Alley who added ukeleles to his classroom, Jason Cunningham, who brought pottery to his art room, Homeland Park's Candice Stanzione who taught great lessons with new art supplies, and Lindsay Morgan, who loves teaching rhythm drumming with light-up sticks.

South Carolina Arts Commission Grants funded so many creative and dynamic projects this year in our Music and Visual Arts classes - Anderson Five is very grateful these funds are available to ALL of our schools. Congratulations to Marianne Norris, Lindsay Morgan, Robert Cason, and Rachel Lawrence for successfully writing winning proposals and implementing new ideas in their classrooms this year. We know their students were excited to receive the new instruments and activities purchased with these SCAC funds.
