Education:  Post Professional OTD (Doctorate) Student at the Medical University of South Carolina, MS OTR/L (Licensed in South Carolina), Certified yoga instructor RYT 500,  How long have you been an Occupational Therapist:  Almost 20 years in 2023, Special Recognition:  Speaker/Lecturer: South Carolina Speech and Hearing Association Convention 2 years, Georgia Speech and Hearing Association Convention (1 year), Lecturer/Presenter "Tapping into your Senses: An Occupational Therapy Approach in a Speech Therapy World", Hobbies:  Going back to school is my newest hobby, Running Marathons & Half-Marathons, Hot Yoga, Weight Lifting, and reading, What do you enjoy about being an OT?  I love being an occupational therapist, every since the first time I met an OT in 2000, I knew what my passion was going to be. I love working with all my students and teachers, and incorporating sensory and gross motor play to support fine motor needs. I love watching my students make progress and become independent within their classroom.
